Calories from a food photo
Give it a photo of a meal. It reads the plate and gives you the calories and the macros, drawn on a card you can save.
Free, and there is nothing to sign up for. Your photo is read once and never stored.
How good is the number
It is an estimate read off a photo, so treat it as a ballpark and not a measurement. An individual meal can be off by a quarter or more, in either direction, and a photo cannot show what is under the surface or how much oil went into the pan.
Typing what is in the meal, in the box on the form, gets you a closer number than the photo alone.
One plate is not the point
A single number tells you very little. What you eat across a week, next to how you slept and how you trained, tells you a lot more. That is what trackmyage is for: photograph a meal, it gets read and logged, and the week builds itself.
